Designed by the Kamov Design Bureau and built by the Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, the Ka-27 (export designation Ka-28) entered Soviet service in 1981. Mi-28N/Mi-28NM
The Mi-28N is a Russian attack helicopter manufactured by Russian Helicopters for use by the Russian Armed Forces. The helicopter is twin-engined with tandem seating and a glass cockpit. The first examples were delivered to the Russian military in 2008, and the Mi-28NM, an upgraded version of the Mi-28N, was approved by the Russian MoD.
