Cutlass is a wheeled, modular EOD/counter-IED system, which enables the user to deal with a range of incidents and is capable of accommodating a variety of payloads and tools. The platform is fitted with a heavy robotic arm with a three-fingered gripper that allows for door opening and more dexterous tasks. In December 2006, the UK MoD announced that Northrop Grumman was awarded a £65 million ($127 million at the time) contract for 80 of the
platforms.
