Unveiled in October 2009, the Rex is a large 4x4 logistics and support unmanned ground vehicle designed to autonomously accompany infantry units of three to ten soldiers, carrying equipment and supplies without the need for a dedicated operator. The platform follows its assigned unit using leader-follower autonomy, adapting its path to the terrain and pace of the accompanied force.
