The RS2H1 is a large tracked unmanned ground vehicle designed to support dismounted soldiers in difficult terrain and to carry out logistics, reconnaissance, and support missions in operationally demanding environments. In December 2017, the platform was shortlisted alongside three other systems for the US Army's Squad Multipurpose Equipment Transport programme. The RS2H1's tracked mobility provides reliable performance across loose soil, mud, rocky ground, and urban debris, allowing it to maintain pace with
infantry units in terrain where wheeled platforms would be mobility-limited.
