Unveiled at ADEX 2019, Hanwha’s Multipurpose UGV for Infantry (also known as the Multipurpose UGV, or MPUGV) is aimed at fulfilling a potential Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) requirement for a UGV that can carry out a wide range of infantry support tasks. Building upon the technology developed for Hanwha’s earlier Star-M3 and Star-M4 UGVs, the Multipurpose UGV for Infantry is a 4x4 all-electric vehicle that has a rear cargo area and can accommodate a remote weapon station. An enlarged 6x6 version is planned to be
developed to increase its payload capacity.
