The Warfighter UGV is being developed by Cyborg Dynamics and BIA5 under an Australian government-funded initiative to support domestic SMEs manufacturing vital national defence capabilities. Featuring several components designed and produced in Australia, it is based upon BIA5’s commercial OzBot All Terrain Robot (ATR) with several modifications to adapt it to military use. Unveiled after a 12-month development cycle in August 2020, the prototype was armed with an EOS R150 remote weapon station but can be configured
for other roles such as a mortar or ATGM carrier.
