The Kelpie multirole unmanned ground vehicle, first unveiled at the Australian International Airshow in February 2019, was developed by Australian company AOS in collaboration with the Special Operations Training and Education Centre and the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision, targeting both commercial and military roles. Production standard was expected by 2020. The Kelpie's Australian development heritage and close collaboration with special operations forces gives it a design grounded in real operational
requirements, with a focus on reliability and payload flexibility suited to reconnaissance, logistics support, and force protection missions in diverse terrain.
