Manufactured by Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI), the DS30, or Long Endurance Fuelcell Drone, is an octocopter rotary-wing UAV that is uniquely powered by hydrogen fuel cells. This power pack gives the UAV a non-payload endurance of 120min, a range of 90km and a low acoustic signature. During its up to two hour flight, the platform can perform ISR operations. In May 2021, the South Korean Defence Aqucotion Programme Administration (DAPA) procured an undisclosed quantity of the platform in a $734,000 contract.
Deliveries are expected to begin in November 2021.
