First announced in October 2012, the AR5 is a MALE UAS designed for SAR, surveillance and maritime patrol missions. The AR5 can either be flown manually or commanded to perform specific tasks autonomously. The platform, manufactured by Tekever, is utilised in non-military roles by both the UK Home Office and the European Maritime Safety Agency
(EMSA).
