Unveiled in March 2021, the V-Bat 128 is an improved version of the V-Bat 118. Compared to that platform, the V-Bat 128 has an increased payload capacity, more power, greater endurance and a higher service ceiling. The UAS is manufactured by Sheild AI. The V-Bat 128 is a VTOL rotary-wing platform that rotates and operates as a fixed-wing aircraft when airborne. The platform has been downselected in the US Navy’s next-genera-tion UAS
programme.
