Manufactured by the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) and marketed by Global Industrial Defence Solutions (GIDS), the Shahpar II is a MALE UAV designed to conduct intelligence and strike missions. A successor of the Shahpar, the Shahpar II allegedly uses only indigenous components except for the engine and tyres. The UAVs launch customer is expected to be the Pakistan military, with counterterrorism missions and border protection
applications.
