DESCRIPTION The round consists of a tubular steel bomb bodywith a plastic obturating band, a mechanicaltime fuze, a tail cone and aluminium tailassembly. It is loaded with the illuminatingflare/parachute assembly and a black powderexpelling charge. The tail assembly contains the ignition cartridge and “horseshoe” type increment charges.
