The fuze is a point detonating type thatcan be set in either delay or superquick mode.The standard propelling charge set consistsof a primary cartridge and 6 equal chargeincrements. The round has a range in excess of 7km. The 120mm M530A1 has been safety certiﬁed by the US Army in 1999.</p><h2>MISSION</h2><p>The 120mm HE bomb is designed for usein 120mm smooth bore towed mortars.
