The KUS-FS, formally known as the MUAV, is a MALE UAS developed by the Korean Air Aerospace Division (KAL-ASD) under the supervision of the Korean Agency for Defense Development to meet the requirements of the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF). Dubbed the ‘Korea Reaper’, the UAV undertook its maiden flight in 2012, but its development path has not been smooth. In 2020, the Korean Minister of Defence and KAL-ASD announced that the UAV had finished its development and was ready to enter production. However, no
evidence exists of a contract awarded by either the ROKAF or the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA).
