Description A steel bomb of conventional shape, but with the rear taper considerably thicker than normal and with the tailfins close to the body. The central cartridge container extends behind the fins and the nine split-ring secondary increments are fitted around it. This cartridge container also forms the rocket efflux, the motor extending
upwards into the base of the bomb. Precise details have not been divulged, but it seems probable that the end of the cartridge container carries the primary cartridge and the bomb is drop loaded and fired in the usual manner.
