Description The M48 is a conventional streamlined bomb with a steel body and alloy tail unit. There are four widely spaced gas check rings cut around the waist of the bomb. The propelling charge consists of a primary cartridge in the tail and five secondary increments in cloth split rings that fit around the tailboom.
