Description A conventional cylindrical bodied illuminating bomb of steel, consisting of the body, a mechanical time fuze and a tapered rear portion containing the parachute with a screwed on tail boom assembly with 12 stabilising fins. There is a single propelling increment attached to the tail boom. The bomb appears virtually identical to the US M301
series illuminating bombs. The bomb also has what appears to be a direct copy of the US M84A1 time fuze. Manufacturer Defence Industries Organisation, Ammunition Group.
