The Landing Ship Transport (LST) 100 has been designed by the Dutch company Damen with one vessel ordered for the Nigerian Navy. The ship is primarily capable of undertaking amphibious operations, transport and logistics. The vessel’s introduction into the Nigerian Navy will bolster sealift capability and specifically enhance the transportation of troops, military equipment, military hardware and vehicles whilst being capable of security operations and
relief.
