The CPV 60 is a coastal patrol boat that has been designed by German Shipbuilder Lürssen (now NVL Group) primarily for EEZ control and surveillance, border patrol and fishery protection, critical infrastructure protection and boarding operations. One such patrol boat is to be delivered to the Egyptian Navy. The vessel was initially intended for the Saudi Border Guard but, following an arms embargo by German lawmakers in October 2018, was instead sold to Egypt in
2020.
