The Omis-class coastal patrol vessels have been designed primarily for patrol, SAR and EEZ protection missions. They have been ordered by the Croatian Navy to enable the country to participate in international SAR operations at sea. A total of five ships are planned, but so far, only one has been delivered in December 2018. A contract for a further four was placed in February
2020.
