The Jan Mayen-class Arctic Coast Guard Vessels are a form of multipurpose OPVs under construction for Norway’s Coast Guard to replace the ageing three Nordkapp-class ships. Three vessels have been procured under the P6615 programme, and a contract worth NOK 5.2 billion ($577 million) was signed with Vard Langstern shipyard in June 2018 to construct the ships. Deliveries of the three vessels are set for 2022, 2023 and
2024.
