The Offshore Patrol Vessel 7, or OPV 76, is built by Dearsan Shipyard. It is designed to conduct a range of primary missions, such as Anti Air Warfare, maritime interdiction operation, ASuW, surface and air surveillance, naval gun-fire support, special forces operations, SAR operations, execution of intelligence operations and the protection of economic activities. On 3 November 2021, Dearsan announced that it had signed a contract with the Nigerian Navy to construct two
vessels.
