The MEKO A-300 is the most recent and up-to-date variant of the well-known MEKO technology frigate family from the German shipyard ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS). The MEKO A-300 PL has been offered and shortlisted for the Polish frigate procurement programme. TKMS have not revealed the full specifications of the vessel yet, but the vessel is reported to have a displacement of around 5,400t with a length of between 125 to 130m and carries 64 long-range
missiles.
