South Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has unveiled the HCX-21, a trimaran vessel designed for Navies and Coast Guards. The lightweight future surface combatant follows the HCX-19, first unveiled at MADEX 2019, to show what HHI’s vision of surface combatants in the 2030s will look like. The vessel will be available in different variations, which include but are not limited to offshore patrol antiship, antisubmarine and uncrewed vehicle
operations.
