The Merkuriy-class (Project 20386) corvettes are under construction at Svernaya Shipyard. The corvettes are one of the four variants of the Stereguschiy class and are part of the emerging Russian coastal defence force. So far, only one vessel is known to have been ordered and began construction in 2016. The vessel is expected to enter service around 2022 and is designed to undertake naval operations in blue and green
waters.
