The TAC-50 A1-R2 brings a hydraulic mitigation system to the 50cal TAC-50 series, significantly decreasing peak recoil from the cartridge by around 90%. This innovative system incorporates a hydraulic piston in the buttstock that compresses upon firing, effectively lowering peak force and distributing recoil over several milliseconds.
