The 5.56mm K2C carbine is a further development of the K2 5.56mm rifle, which has been the standard assault rifle of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces since 1984. The K2C is equipped with a 12in barrel. Like the K2, the K2C features a rotating bolt locking system and an aluminium alloy receiver. It can be fired in three modes: semi-automatic, three-round burst and
automatic.
