The SIG516 Patrol is a development of the AR-15/M16 design. It has a nitride-treated military-grade barrel and adjustable four-position gas regulator, 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium upper and lower receiver as well as a hard-coat anodised finish. The SIG516 Patrol rifle is equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny flat top receiver and a quad-rail handguard. Four barrel lengths are available so the weapon can be configured for different operational
scenarios.
