The Volz DA 58-D is a fully redundant integrated brushless actuator delivering peak torque exceeding 200 Nm and rated torque of 80 Nm, designed for the highest-reliability applications in mission-critical aircraft and robotics. All major components are duplicated — including the motor, control and communication electronics, and power supply — enabling continuous operation after a single channel failure without interruption to the controlled surface or mechanism. Integrated diagnostic sensors provide continuous
monitoring of current, supply voltage, and temperature, with health status readable via CAN or RS-485 interface for condition-based maintenance and fault isolation. The DA 58-D is suited for fly-by-wire actuation in UAVs, eVTOL aircraft, and robotic systems where both high torque output and uninterrupted operation through hardware failures are fundamental design requirements.
