The Volz DA 30-HT is a high-torque full brushless actuator designed for harsh environment operation in UAV and robotic applications, with contactless position sensing providing immunity to wear, vibration, and shock. Housed in an IP67-rated saltwater-resistant aluminum enclosure with an integrated sub-D connector, it is available in PWM or RS-422 differential PWM input variants, with RS-485 digital interface also available for diagnostic telemetry including supply voltage, current, temperature, and humidity. The
DA 30-HT can be configured with mil-spec circular connectors or cable glands in place of the standard sub-D connector to meet defense platform integration requirements. It is appropriate for flight control actuator, robotic joint, and mechanism applications requiring high torque output, rugged construction, and flexible interface options in a compact 30mm actuator.
