The Trillium HD40 is a compact stabilized gimbal in a machined magnesium enclosure with robust environmental sealing, available in an EO-only configuration with 30x optical zoom or with a 10x optical zoom visible camera paired with a fixed focal length LWIR camera. A GPS-aided INS co-located with the cameras provides real-time geopointing and geolocation for accurate target tracking, and an optional 850 nm NVG-compatible laser pointer is available. Embedded scene tracking and target tracking processing, combined
with Ethernet and serial control and Ethernet and analog video output interfaces, make the HD40 appropriate for small UAVs, handheld gimbals, and vehicle-mounted electro-optical systems where compact size, GPS-aided targeting, and long-range visible or combined EO/IR imaging are required.
