It supports up to 10 backplane slots in an 8+2 configuration (8 payload cards and 2 VITA 62 power supplies) or a 9+1 configuration, catering to various power and payload requirements.The AoC3U-821 is versatile, offering standard or custom backplane options to meet specific data flow needs and supports a range of signal speeds and VITA standards for comprehensive connectivity. A key feature is its removable drive bay, which provides substantial storage for mission-critical data. Additionally, the chassis's design accommodates expansion for additional thermal management or storage, along with customizable I/O panels to address diverse connectivity demands.

The LCR AoC3U-821 is an eight-slot 3U VPX air-over-conduction cooled ATR chassis supporting 8+2 or 9+1 slot configurations for SOSA-aligned and OpenVPX payload and power supply cards.
