The IWI MASADA is a 9mm polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol that features a low-profile barrel for reduced recoil and has ambidextrous controls and an ergonomic grip provided by its 3 interchangeable wrap-around backstraps. The pistol utilises a modular serialised high-grade steel trigger mechanism housing, allowing for low maintenance. With either combat-style sights or optional fixed three-dot tritium sights, it has a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for other accessories and is available in OPR (Optic Ready Platform)
configuration as well. It is likely to be used by the elite Paratroopers Brigade of the IDF.
