The S-8 HEAT is a folding-fin aircraft rocket developed by the Soviet Air Force for use by military aircraft. It is currently in service with the Russian Air Force and other export customers. It was originally developed in the 1970s and entered service in 1984. It has since been developed in a variety of subtypes with different warheads, including HEAT anti-armour, high-explosive fragmentation, smoke and
incendiary.
