The LW25 is a 25mm gun based on the Bushmaster family and is a derivative of the combat-proven M242 25mm Bushmaster Automatic Cannon. The design features a dual-feed with first-round select and scalable lethality from non-lethal to airburst, remote or manned operation. The gun can be soft-mounted to reduce recoil and includes a two-sided muzzle brake developed and tested for aircraft
applications.
