Visually similar to Kratos’ XQ-58A Valkyrie, the FH-97 is a medium and long-range reconnaissance attack UAV. Debuted at the 13th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai in September and October 2021, the Chinese aircraft features an internal weapons bay, an EO sensor and can carry and deploy the FH-901 platform. It is believed the FH-97 can operate as a loyal wingman aircraft to crewed fighter aircraft. It is unclear if it is aimed for the PLAAF or export markets, nor is the status of its
development known.
