The Roketsan MAM-L Smart Micro Munition is a glide weapon derived from the laser-guided L-UMTAS long-range anti-tank missile system, sharing the same warhead and guidance section but omitting the rocket motor to create a compact munition suitable for integration on all UAV classes and light attack aircraft. The MAM-L is designed to defeat heavily armoured vehicles through its shaped-charge warhead. Its light weight and small dimensions allow multiple rounds to be carried per sortie, and the laser guidance provides
precision engagement capability against static and moving armoured targets with minimal collateral risk.
