The VH-92A is a special transport helicopter developed by Sikorsky based on the S-92 to meet the USMC requirement to replace the VH-3D and VH-60N presidential helicopter fleet. The VH-92A programme began in 2014 when Sikorsky won a $1.24 billion engineering and manufacturing development contract from the USN. The aircraft recorded its maiden flight on 28 July 2017 and the serial production decision was taken in June 2019 by the US
