The KUH-1 Surion is South Korea’s first locally developed utility helicopter. It is intended to replace the Republic of Korea Army’s (ROKA) ageing fleet of UH-1H and MD 500 aircraft. The KUH-1 can be used for various missions, including troop transport, internal and external cargo transport, border patrol and SF operations.
