The Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) is a twin-engine, light helicopter designed to meet the requirements of the Indian Armed Forces. Having initially entered service in January 2002, Dhruvs have since been delivered in several variants with different engines and avionics suites. The Mk1 entered service with the Indian Coast Guard for SAR operations, followed by service with the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and Border Security
Force.
