The Il-76MD-90, also known as the Il-476, is a strategic transport aircraft developed by United Aircraft Corporation to meet the requirements of the Russian Air Force and for the export market. The prototype first flew in September 2012. The aircraft is a development of the Il-76MD, which itself is an upgrade of the Il-76 (see separate entries). Russia is planning to acquire 100 Il-76MD-90A transport aircraft by 2030. To date, 53 have been
