Manufactured by Callen-Lenz, the Koios 55 is a small-UAS available in both a VTOL and non-VTOL variant. In September 2020, Koios 55 was teamed with a crewed helicopter during British Army’s manned-unmanned teaming (MUMT) themed Army Warfighting Experiment 19. The event showcased a user could integrate the UAVs control system into the cockpit of a crewed aircraft, such as Leanardo’s AW159 Wildcat. In addition, the event highlighted the ability of the Koios 55’s Skycircutis SC3 autopilot system to manage complex
autonomous and semi-autonomous flight patterns.
