Following previous MPAs in Dassault’s Falcon family, a variant based on the Falcon 900 was launched in 2005. The MPA has a 360° radar in an underbelly radome, a retractable FLIR located under the fuselage, an electronic support measures suite and an acoustic subsystem with processors/analysers and a sonobuoy launcher. Missions include monitoring of littoral approaches, law enforcement at sea, SAR, ISR, support to the fleet, anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, target acquisition and
attack.
