Originally designed by Egyptian-owned South African company SASKA in 2016, the ST-100 4x4 mine-resistant ambush- protected vehicle was officially unveiled at the 2018 EDEX exhibition after the company relocated to Egypt and rebranded itself as IMUT. The ST-100 is a modular design that can carry ten different mission modules in place of the standard rear troop compartment. These modules can be exchanged within 45 to 60min, allowing the same vehicle to be adapted to carry out a variety of roles. A large number of
these vehicles are expected to enter production for the Egyptian Armed Forces and Ministry of the Interior, while several foreign militaries have also reportedly expressed an interest in trialling the platform.
