Minotor-Service began development of the 3T Omni-role Tracked Carrier (OTC) in 2001 as a private venture and completed the first prototype the following year. This was an open-top vehicle without armour protection, while the second was fully enclosed with protection against small arms fire and shell splinters. The 3T is intended to form the basic chassis for various specialist vehicles, including reconnaissance, fire support, EW, air defence, antitank, logistics carrier, recovery, C2 and
