The 30mm-armed Puma tracked IFV was developed by Projekt System & Management (PSM), a JV between Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and Rheinmetall Landsysteme, to meet the German Army’s requirement for a well-armed infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) offering a very high level of protection. The first of 350 vehicles on order was delivered in June 2015, with deliveries planned to continue until 2020. Additionally, the Puma is being offered for requirements in Australia and the Czech
