The Kaplan Light Armoured Weapon Carrier – Tracked (LAWC-T) is intended for a variety of roles, including reconnaissance, antitank and fire support missions. It has an all-welded aluminium hull with appliqué armour which offers STANAG 4569 Level 4 ballistic protection and STANAG 4569 Level 3 mine protection. A shallow V-plate can also be fitted beneath the hull to boost mine
