The Terrex 2 is a larger, heavier version of ST Engineering’s Terrex 8x8 armoured vehicle. Available in both amphibious and non-amphibious configurations, it is capable of accommodating a higher payload than the original Terrex and features a more powerful engine than its predecessor. SAIC offered the Terrex 2 as part of its bid for the USMC’s Amphibious Combat Vehicle programme, but it ultimately lost out to BAE Systems and is yet to receive a launch
customer.
