The Light Armored Vehicle II Double V-Hull (LAV II DVH) is an upgraded variant of the LAV II 8x8 armoured vehicle developed by General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada (GDLS-C) to improve the platform’s blast protection without comprising on its mobility or payload capacity. Compared to the standard LAV II, the most notable changes are the addition of a double V-shaped hull and an updated driveline featuring a more powerful engine. GDLS-C is marketing the LAV II DVH as an upgrade to users of the standard LAV II,
such as Saudi Arabia, as well as a new-production vehicle.
