The MIUS (Muharip Insansiz Ucak Sistemi) or Fighter UAV is a fighter and loyal wingman UAS in development by Baykar. On 20 July 2021, the company shared conceptual design images of MIUS for the first time on Twitter. Its first flight is scheduled for 2023. Baykar will produce two variants of the platform, each with a different engine; Motor Sich’s AI-25TLT and Ivchek-no-Progress’ AI-322F. MIUS will contain AI and will be used on close air support, strategic attack, suppression/destruction, missile attack missions, and
operate as a loyal wingman. MIUS is planned to operate from Turkey’s in development TCG Anadolu landing helicopter dock.
